I am completed my diploma in mechanical engg. I am appear to nda exam?

sorry you cannot attempt for nda exam
if you are 17 to 19 you can give nda exam
if you are more than 19 and have done graduation you can apply for cds exam

NDA require students with Degree of btech or BE

you can enter this B tech or BE through E-CET and complete your degree then join NDA.
Remember you need to have an aggregate of 60% in your degree.

I think Diploma Candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year.

And To apply for NDA Examination, you have to complete your 12Th (Intermediate) Examination From a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination.

If you have completed your 12Th examination, Only then you are eligible to apply for NDA Examination. Eligible candidates may apply for These Wings :

>> Army Wing
>> Naval Wing
>> Air Force Wing

For Army Wings : Any 12th passed candidates are eligible for Army Wings, So if you have completed your 12Th examination form any discipline then you are eligible to apply for Army Wings.

For Naval and Air Force Wings : To apply for Both these wings, you have to completed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects.

Age Eligiblity :

Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years.

Only Unmarried Male candidates are eligible for NDA Examination.

Notification Date :

The Notification of Next year NDA (I) 2012 Examination will be Published soon in the Month of December, So please wait for the Notification and fill the Online application form Soon after declaring the Notification.

The Notification will be Published on 31/Dec/2011.

And the last date of apply for NDA Examination : 30/Jan/2012

Examination Date : 15/April/2012.

First i think Diploma student can not apply NDA exam.

Eligibility criteria:-


*Candidate pass 12th science with mathematics,Physics,Chemistry as a subject in 12th.
*Must secure 50% mark in 12th
*AGE-16.5 to 19 years
Age relaxation as per Government rules.
*Candidate must be Indian


If all these criteria satisfying then a candidate can apply for NDA exam.

If you are doing Diploma after 12th then you can also apply for that.

NDA exam is conducted twice in a year at February and December.

Yes, my friend you can apply for NDA exam after completion of diploma..
As diploma is equivalent to 12th.

Eligibility for NDA exam:-

Indian Military Academy:-

Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade or its equivalent from any central/state education board..
Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidate must be unmarried , male..

Navy or Air Force wing:-

Candidate must have complete the 12th in science or its equivalent form a central/state education board.
Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years.
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidate must be unmarried , male..

You can apply for different section in defense through NDA exam..

Eligibility For NDA Exam

In order to appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) you need to fulfill the following minimum qualifications :-

1) You should have passed 12th or equivalent..

2) You should be in the age limit of 16.5-19 years..

Since you have passed the diploma which in this case will be considered equivalent to the 12th..hence you can appear for the NDA Exam..

The next NDA exam is going to be conducted on 15th April,2012..

the forms for this exam shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for form submission is 30th January,2012..

the written exam mainly tests you on the basis of general knowledge,current affairs,maths and english..

sorry diploma holders are not eligible,
u need a 10+2 or euivalent exam
u can even give cds after acquiring a bacheler s degrree ,,btech for u probably or any other graduation

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NDA being a Diploma holder !! You must have an Inter to attempt NDA Exams.

Well the following eligibility is required for NDA :

Eligibility:


If you are interested to go for Indian Army then YOU CAN HAVE YOUR INTER FROM ANY STREAM.

BUT, you must have your inter with Physics,Maths,Chemistry Background when you want to go for Airforce or NAVY Wings.

Your age must be between 16.5 to 19years.

You should be Unmarried.

So, you are not eligible for NDA..!

Hi , I'm going to complete BE computer science ,.so after completing BE I can apply for NDA , and my father is an ex army so any special quata is there,pls tell me??
