iam in b.tech 3rd year and iam from ece backgrond

Dear,

3rd year of engineering is a very important year as this is the time you have to decide what you have to do next. Whether you will do job after it or you will go for higher studies. This is because whatever you will decide you will have to start your preparation in this year only as in 4th year you will not get time to even think about it as there will be many other things to do like project, seminar,campus placement etc.

If you want to do a job in 3rd year its good but you will not get a full time job in any reputed core company. You can work as an intern or you can join any BPO. This will help you even in your placement and studies as well but no one can guarantee about t as no one knows what HR actually want from the candidates.

Since there is no competitive exam that you can give while being in 3rd year you can just prepare for them whatever you want to give from this year only that will really make your preparation strong.
