For sure.. Yes you can apply for a lecturer... In private institutes there is no criteria you can easily apply.. but there are some institutes which demand "post graduation with 55% marks or more" and JRF/NET exam should also be cleared...
And For lecturership in govt college one mandatorily needs to qualify NET exam after post graduation with percentage 55% or more. Even in good institutes Phd candidates having JRF are preferred. Best of luck.............

after complete your B.TECH

if your wish is lecture then you go for

M.TECH

because for lecture your concept is clear and

you go for higher salary than b.tech...............

dear friend,

if you have completed M-TECH degree then you are eligible lecturer post for AICTE approved college.

But for B-TECH student have less chance for lecturer post.

You are applicable for private college only for part time job.

If you have want to join in govt college then you must cleared the NET exam.

All the best

Being an engineer [B.TECH] you can not apply for lecturer in any college. You must be M.TECH.
Here is the details information.

1.If you are B.TECH then you only can apply for LABORATORY ASST.
2.If you are M.TECH then you can apply for ASST.PROFESSOR.
3.You need P.hd to become a PROFESSOR.

I think now you can understand.
