Can I apply for LLB after passing 12th?
HELLO,THIS IS ROHIT SINGH STUDYING IN 12th FROM COMMERCE.MAY YOU TELL ME CAN I APPLY FOR LLB AFTER 12th,WHAT IS THE DISTANCE OF THIS COURSE AFTER 12th AND LLB REQUIRES EXTRA ORDINARY STUDENTS OR AVERAGE STUDENTS.THANKS

Yes Rohit, you can apply for LLB as soon you have completed your 12th . It doesn't require any extra ordinary student even an average student can apply for the course.
It’s 5year regular course after 12th and 3 years from graduation. Once you complete your LLB, you have to practice under lawyer and then you are eligible to practice independently. |

LL.B. - BACHELOR OF LAW can be pursed in two ways, one of three year duration after Graduation in any stream and another of five years duration after 12th.
So you can apply for five year Integrated Law degree after completion of 12th with at least 50% marks in any stream from a recognised Board. In order to get admission to some top Law colleges of India one has to appear and crack its entrance exam like CLAT. CLAT - COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST is conducted by NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY every year for admission to under Graduate Law degree course. The candidate having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board, is eligible to apply for CLAT. The CLAT exam comprises of all objective type questions based on the subjects like:- -English Language -General Knowledge & Current Affairs -Mathematics -Logical Reasoning -Legal Aptitude So apply CLAT and try to score maximum marks in order to get admitted to top college for LL.B. Hi,
yes you are eligible for the LLB course after completing the 12th standard with 50% of marks. You do the LLB course first you can crack the CLAT examination. CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test. It can be entry level examination for Law Course. If your aspiring to apply for this examinatio then you should be citizen of india. You should qualified in 12th standard from any recognized state board of india. The candidate must need the 50% marks in 12th standard to eligible for this exam. Your age should not more then 20 years and relaxation is applicable for sc/st and obc candidates. Yes, you can apply for LLB after 12th class as the eligibility criteria for the same is as under-
1. One should have a B.A / BSc / B.com degree with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and 35% for SC/ST candidates. There is also a 2% Weightage for the post graduate degree holders. 2. For seeking admission in this law course the students have to give an entrance test and a personal interview. After the completion of the LLB degree the students can opt for profession in one of the two fields in law as criminal lawyer or a civil lawyer. They can also find the job in the private and the public sector organizations. There is no such criteria regarding this course that an extra ordinary student or average student can pursue this course.Its all about a students ability & interest through which HE can go for this course.But the student must not be an introvert type.So If you have a good communication skill,good interest in this course then definitely you can go for it. |

yes, definately you can apply for LLB. for that you have to pass CLAT entrance examination. For applying LLB a candidate should have completed their 12th with minimum 50% from recognise board. LLB is a very prestigious degree...The person with this degree fights against inequality and wrong deeds of all types in the society. In India, There are two types of LLB courses: 1. 3 years LLB degree 2. 5 years integrated LLB Degree. My daughter has appeared in 12th exam,she has already submitted forms of CLAT & BHU entrance exam,can you suggest another top law college detail regarding entrance exam last date for the students who are awaiting their 12th result. Also pls clarify whether 12th students can apply for 03year course or 05year course.All important law colleges have entrance exam or is. there are other colleges who takes admission after 12th result. Please update me
