No, you can’t apply for NDA at the age of 16. Lower age limit for NDA is 16 ½ years. Those less than 19 years can only apply. Also you can apply for NDA after qualifying 12th. Those who are going to appear for final exam of class 12th can also apply.

Below is the Eligibity that the candidates needs to meet before they can apply for the UPSC conducted NDA exams.

Education:
Navy and Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.

Sorry 16 year old can not apply for NDA examination. You have to wait for some time if you want to apply for NDA examination.

In addition to above age you also must be unmarried and Indian male citizen.

The educational qualification required for NDA is 10+2 passed from a recognised Board of Education.

NDA Exam Details:-

NDA Exam is conducted twice a year and by giving this exam you can enter the following wings: Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Air Force Academy. Union Public Commission Service conducts this examination and if you get selected then you need to stay in the academy for three years.

The General Ability section has been further sub-divided into two parts: English and General Knowledge. For English the maximum marks that will be allotted is 200 and the rest will be for general knowledge section.

The intelligence and personality section carries 900 marks approximately and it is basically conducted to know more to test your mental agility, flexibility and your interest about various issues. They may also quiz you about various contemporary issues too.

You must write NDA exam to join Airforce after completing 12th. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. The exam is conducted by UPSC board for 2 times in a year.

The age limit for joining NDA is 16 1/2 - 19 years. There is no age relaxation provided. Also only male candidates are only allowed. No women is eligible to appear for NDA. All the candidates appearing for NDA exam should not be married.

All the candidates must be mentally and physically fit and should not have any diseases related to eyes and must not have skin infections etc

Before completing 16 1/2 years you can't apply for NDA and it must be completed before 1st June

For NDA you should be atleast 16.5 yrs old.You should know the eligibility required for NDA exam.You should be 12th pass from a recognized board.Your age should be between 16.5 to 19 yrs.You should be an unmarried male candidate while writting exam.

NDA Stands for National Deference Academy

NDA is conducted by UPSC held twice a year,

NDA have three wings : Indian Air Force, Indian Army, Indian Navy

Age Limit between for 16.5 to 19 yrs.

No Age Relaxation facility will given for this entrance test.

Candidates wishing to apply for Army wing should have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination conducted by various state or central boards of India.

Only boys can apply for the exam.

Candidates who want to become officers through NDA & NA examination should not be married.

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

You can appear Not more then 3 times for NDA Exam.
