Yes,your mother can apply for TET(Teacher Eligibility Test) Exam.To apply for this exam,your mother have to meet certain educational qualification eligibility conditions and there is No Age Limitations for applying.

Educational qualification Criteria

Primary Stage(For teachers of Class I to V):
~Candidates minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 pass out from recognized board/university.
~Candidates must have a Diploma degree in Elementary Education of 2 years.
~Candidates minimum marks in 10+2 should be 50%.

Elementary Stage(For Teachers of Class VI to VIII):
~Candidates minimum educational qualification should be Graduation Pass out from recognized University.
~You must have a 2 year Diploma degree in Elementary Education/1 year B.ED degree.
~Candidates minimum marks in Graduation should be 50%.

Exam Pattern :-
~Paper I will be for those candidates who will apply for becoming teacher of class I to V.
~Paper II will be for those candidates who will apply for becoming teacher of class VI to VIII.

Exam Pattern :-
~Total Number of Questions will be 150.
~Total Marks for this Exam will be 150.
~Total Time Duration for this Exam will be 1 Hour & 30 Minutes.

Exam Syllabus :-
~Child development and Pedology - Total Number of questions 30.
~Language I - Total Number of questions 30.
~Language Comprehension II - Total Number of questions 30.
~Mathematics - Total Number of questions 30.
~Environmental Studies - Total Number of questions 30.
