To become a DOCTOR, you will need to complete MBBS, a 5 ½ years course divided into three professionals of three semesters each. The last 1 year is devoted to compulsory rotating internship. Then one needs to complete M.S, a 3 years course that leads to postgraduate degree in surgery.

No, after doing graduation in zoology and botany, you are not eligible to become a doctor.
To become a doctor, firstly you have to do mbbs. Mbbs is a 4.5 year graduation course(consists of 4 professional years) + a year of compulsory internship. And additionally for becoming a child specialist doctor, after mbbs, you also have to do speciality in pediatrics. Also, the admission into the MBBS course is through the NEET (entrance exam). |

Crack NEET.
Join a medical college far from home. Realise that NEET UG was easier than the easiest chapter in Ganong. Understand that you will never master Anatomy or Biochem or Pharma or Pathology. Enter the medical wards and get shocked at how shit works. Start Harrison s principles of medicine in year 2 and realize it aint your cup of tea. Laze around in year 3 before realising that SPM is real. And it can hurt you real bad. Final year makes you realize how much you should have read and how you haven't even finished half. Throw away Harrison. Struggle through internship. You see the light at the end of the tunnel. You will become a doctor after this torture. MBBS is done. You have the degree but deep down you know you aren't a doctor yet. Now you realize that the light you saw at the tunnel is that of an oncoming freight train- PG prep. Struggle through NEET PG. Get a PG degree. You still aren't satisfied with what and where you are. You think specialization will fill that void. You crack NEET SS. Halfway through you realize that the void was never meant to be filled. That pursuit was what kept you alive and somewhere in the pursuit, you became a doctor. |
