Re: Can I directly get admitted in CA Inter IPCC?
You are eligible for exemption from appearing for the CPT test. Common Proficiency Test is the first stage of Chartered Accountancy course. Candidates after completing 12th can appear for the test and upon clearing it, they will get admission for the second stage of Chartered Accountancy known as IPCC.
However recently ICAI made some changes that allows a graduate to skip Common Proficiency Test and seek direct admission into the IPCC. However the candidate should meet the following criteria. Criteria for Exemption 1. Commerce graduate should score minimum of 55 percent marks. 2. At least 60 percent marks for non-commerce graduates. Since you have scored 75 percent marks in Bachelor of Commerce, you can directly take admission for the IPCC without having to appear for the Common Proficiency Test. Integrated Professional Competancy Course (IPCC) Group 1 1. Accounting 2. Business Laws,Ethics and Communication 3. Cost Accounting and Financial Management 4. Taxation Group 2 5. Advanced Accounting 6. Auditing and Assurance 7. Information Technology and Strategic Management Final Course Group 1 1. Financial Reporting 2. Strategic Financial Management 3. Advanced Auditing and Professional Ethics 4. Corporate and Allied Laws Group 2 5. Advanced Management Accounting 6. Information System control and Audit 7. Direct Tax Laws 8. indirect tax Laws |
