i would like to go for PCB after my 10th . after 12th i would like to go for biomedical engineering and i would like to take this as my career. can i do biomedical engineering if i'll do PCB? and pls tell me some good institutions for biomedical engineering in maharashtra. is it necessary to do maths to go for biomedical engineering? what are the other qualifications required to do biomedical engineering?how many years does it take to study?

Biomedical Engineering:
Biomedical is a branch of Engineering where we use the Engineering Principles and applications to solve the complex biological problems for improving the quality of human life.

Eligibility:

for B.E /B.Tech Biomedical Engineering Programs
12th Standard/+2 - with PCM/PCMB/PCB all are eligible for Bachelors program.
Since Biomedical is an Interdisciplinary Branch.But their might be a constraint in the quota for PCB(20% -30% seats).
For Doing B.E/B.Tech Biomedical Engineering - Mathematics is very essential.

As per Norms, If any student with PCB is allowed to take admission into Biomedical Engineering.
If you consider the universities in South India - all universities and affiliated engg colleges will admit only PCB students with greater ratio.
As far as Govt. of Maharashtra is considered, DTE has to diversify the eligibility criteria. Regarding institutions - Any institution with in the Mumbai and Pune are recommended.other wise better shift to universities in Chennai,Tamilnadu.
