Economics is basically an arts and commerce subject. Though science stream students can do it. But originally its called B.A Economics.

Economics Honors is presently the best course in the market, and all the board toppers intend to do it from best universities like Delhi University, Mumbai University, University of Pune, Lucknow University and more..

So first of all yeah sure you can do Economics Honours after your class 12th even if you have commerce in your 11th.
But provided you score a very competitive aggregate in your 12th boards, because mind you, the race for this course is huge. So if you are to get a seat, you have to crack the boards brilliantly.

commerce graduate.
