Sir my name is raj I am doing b.tech in ksou I want to know that can I elligible for GATE exam or IES examination after completing b.tech from Karnataka state open university...?

You have completed B-tech degree from KSOU so you are applicable for GATE and IES exam because your B-Tech degree is recognized by UGC .

If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department are applicable for GATE Exam.

There is no marks criteria in Graduation degree for GATE exam.

You have completed B-Tech degree so you are applicable for GATE Exam .But you can not apply through your MBA degree .

There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam.You can apply here maximum time.There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination

If you have completed your Bachelor Engineering Degree course, then you are eligible to apply for IES Examination, But your written exam subjects are -CIVIL, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING. You can choose any one subject from these . M.Sc Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering are also applicable for IES Exam.

Final year student also eligible for IES exam .

The applicant age should be in between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.

I am a army person and working as JE (Civ) in military engineer service my DOB is 1977. I have done btech through KSOU. Can I apply fro job in CPWD/DDA through GATE 2014

I was done Post Diploma in Tool design (PDTD) After Diploma in mechanical engineering(3 years) ,
PDTD is 1 year course approved by AICTE as a post diploma .
I am eligible for GATE ?

I'm working in defense and doing btech from ksou in 2 nd year am i eligible for GATE exam or other civil Services after completion of my course?

If we have knowledge and confidence in respective field and b tech and m tech degree from ksou distance mode so no problem of any interview or any short of examination
