Alliance Business Academy,Bangalore 2. Amrita Institute of Management,Coimbatore 3. Aravali Institute of Management,Jodhpur 4. Birla Institute of Technology,Ranchi 5. College of Agribusiness Management,Uttarchanchal 6. DC School of Management and Technology,Kottayam 7. Department of Business Administration,Lucknow M.B.A. Preparation:- M.B.A. Exam Preparation Need a smart and well planned approach. Management Aptitude Test - M.A.T. is generally held 4 times in a year in January, May, September and December. Most of the tests consists Objective with multiple choice questions. The structure and paper pattern of MAT Exam is designed to judge the candidate aptitude and decision making abilities. ~regards~ priyo |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
dear friend,
as you said that you have not appeared in mat and cat so you are not eligible for taking admission in mba from a good institutions. apart from these if you want to do mba without sitting in cat or mat, then you can also give the state entrance exam like mh-cet or tancet or mh-cet or pgcet, upsee ........ .choose your state where you want to take admission and give the entrance exam of that state. but there are very few number of seats for other state candidates. so its better for you to just sit in the cat or mat this will give you a lots of opportunity to get admission in private college also. all the best. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
My dear friend for your question my answer is yes.
Because many private colleges and Universities conduct their own entrance exams for admission into MBA. So you can give that exams for admission and hence get benefit by getting admission. Apart from that many colleges and Universities also provide admission in MBA on the basis of your percentage in Graduation. So there are lot of chances of admission in MBA without CAT and MAT. So, GOOD LUCK. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
You should sit for the Common Admission Test or Management Aptitutde Test. There is no chance of getting admission for the Master of Business Administration without appearing for some entrance exam.
Even if you do not want to appear for CAT or MAT, there are some other options that can be considered. However it is necessary that you appear for at least one entrance exam and do well in order to get admission. Without appearing for a entrance exam you will not get admission in any college. Or some less known college may give you admission but it will do no help to you with seeking job. Other candidates will be given preference over you. Which is why I will strongly recommend that you should appear for one of the following entrance exams:- CAT MAT RMAT KMAT GMAT JMET SNAP IIFT XAT TANCET I will recommend Common Admission Test since it is the most popular exam and could possibly give you admission in Indian Institutes of Management. You can appear for Common Admission Test if completed graduation with 50 percent marks. While the SC and ST will have to score 45 percent marks in graduation to be eligible for this entrance exam. The other good option is Management Aptitutde Test. Generally candidates with low marks in graduation prefer it. There is no percentage criteria for MAT. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
Quote:
But it is always advisable to give the MBA Entrance Exam first, score good marks and then look for a good college where your score will be considered. Especially if you aim to get your MBA done from a reputed institute there is no way you can do so without giving exams like CAT or MAT. Another reason why i am insisting so much on giving an entrance exam is placements and better faculty members. Colleges which have a name for themselves needless to say always have the best faculty members guiding the students. Not only that the placement record of that college also gives out positive vibes about the college. Thus if you want to reap the benefit of an MBA course you are about to do then better start taking preparations for any one of the exam you wish to give as these exams are quite tough and you need to be well equipped to dodge all questions. CAT Exam Eligibility Criteria:- 1. A bachelor's degree with 50% of marks. 2. Reserved category candidates needs to get 45% of marks. 3. Final year students can also give this exam. 4. There is no age criteria to follow as such. MAT Eligibility Criteria:- 1. You need to get a graduate degree from a recognized university. 2. Minimum marks to attain at graduation level have not been mentioned. 3. Final year students are eligible to give this exam. 4. There is no age limit to follow. Hope this helps :-> :-> |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
Even though CAT and CMAT are commonly accepted scores which determine the admission of students to most of the business schools in India, these entrance tests are not the only mandatory tests to get admitted to a MBA course.
They are many colleges who have their own entrance exam for MBA courses. For Eg: NMIMS has NMAT. Symbiosis has SNAP etc Likewise, there is an entrance test called RMAT - Regenesys Management Admission Test which is conducted by Regenesys Institute of Management, India. If you are able to clear the RMAT test by Regenesys you are on your way to secure admission to a very sought after MBA course called International Leadership Multi-Country MBA which has a limited intake. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
CAT or Common Admission Test which is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) is only one of the entrance exams conducted for entrance into Management schools
There are plenty of other entrance exams from other management schools like the XAT, SNAP, NMAT, MAT, CMAT etc. Then there is GMAT which is accepted globally at major colleges and universities. These are very tough , competitive and challenging exams. These exams though important and having a wide acceptance are not mandatory for securing a MBA admission. There are many reputed business schools and institutions in India to which a GMAT/CAT score is not compulsory as long as the overall profile fits and matches the eligibility criteria laid down by the institute. Such institutes though limited offer some really good MBA programmes, one such program is International Leadership Multi-Country MBA offered by Regenesys Institute of Management. This college is headquartered in South Africa and has a campus in Vashi for Indian students. They do not consider scored of any of the competitive exam for admission to their International Leadership Multi-Country MBA. They have a customised in house test which goes by the name of RMAT - Regenesys Management Admission Test. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
Hello,
Yes apparently even if you don't appear for CAT/MAT examination you are eligible for MBA . You can opt for some private institutes and there are many institutes conducting it's own entrance tests. You can go through the following: 1)XAT Another top management entrance, XAT is a computer based management aptitude test. Conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur, XAT is taken by approximately one lakh candidates annually. 2) Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Conducted by Symbiosis International University, SNAP is also a national-level management entrance examination. SNAP scores are primarily used for admission to 15 institutes under Symbiosis International University. However, many other MBA colleges use SNAP scores for admission. SNAP Exam is held in December and SNAP registrations take place till November. SNAP Test is a computer-based exam and held for two hours. 3)NMAT by GMAC NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) is also one of the important MBA entrance exams. It has recently been acquired by GMAC and rebranded as NMAT by GMAC. Scores for NMAT by GMAC will be used for admission to Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies . 4). IIFT Exam IIFT entrance test is an institute specific entrance test. The exam is held for admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT). It is held in pen and paper mode. IIFT exam is conducted in November for two hours and consists of 200 multiple choice questions. |

Re: Can I get admission for MBA course without giving CAT and MAT Exams?
No cat cmat exams are not important, if you have good verbal and written skills in English,as most of the International Colleges teach in that language, also there are other competitive exams like RMAT from reputed College like Regenesys Business School which can help you get admission.
