Dear Sir, I am working in Indian Railway as an Assistant Loco Pilot and I have completed 4 years. Now my age is 28, so can I apply for the post of SI in Haryana Police on the behalf of Central Government Employee for age relaxation and in Haryana Police SI post age limit is between 21 to 27?

Yes, you can apply for Haryana SI post under central government employee quota.

The basic eligibility required to apply for Haryana SI post are given below:

- The candidate should have studied any graduation/ bachelors level degree in any stream from any recognised university.
- The age limit should be between 21 - 27 years.
- There is 3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ ST candidates.
- For central government employee quota the candidate should have a 3 years regular & continues working experience then the candidate will be eligible for age relaxation.
- The age relaxation given for general central government employee will be 5 years, for OBC central government employee it will be 8 years and for SC/ ST central government employee will be 10 years.
- The candidate should be physically & mentally fit.

So, based on the age limit you’ll be eligible for applying to Haryana SI post under central government employee quota.

You are eligible for age relaxation on the basis of current job in central government only when you are ex-servicemen otherwise not.
If you are under OBC/SC/ST category then also you are eligible for age relaxation.
