i have got 170 marks in iit jee and in aieee i have got 134 marks and air is 38367
can i get any government college in india

may be you don't get in iit but with 134 marks you can surely get a NIT reputated collages after IITEs

If you are general category then it is difficult for you to get government college with this rank. You can try management qouta of private colleges like
Lovly Professional University
BIT Mesra
Shobhit University
Sharda University
etc.

Dear friend , with your rank its hard to get any govt colleges if you are SC/ST then may be possible else you can prepare again if you have got 38367 air rank then i think next time you can get into below 10,000 air rank just study hard,,best of luck

yes you can get govt. colleges if you take part in the counselling conducted by different states of technical university. there are many colleges in rajasthan also in which you can easily get govt. college such as engg. college bikaner, ajmer engg. college etc. so dont worry just go for counselling.

u hve scored fairly well in aieee
wait until 3rd or 4th round of counselling....
still getting a gud branch wont be so easy
u can opt for mining

Its not possible for you to get government colleges in this given ranks in AIEEE and IIT JEE. So, its better you can get admission in any good private engineering college, you
will definately get good private colleges in this rank. But to get government colleges
its very hard. But if you got admission in government colleges, then you will not get
good branch. So, its better you can get admission in any good private universities
like-

Amity University

Lovely Professional University

Shadra University.

Dear as there is always competition to get seat in IIT or in NIT.

I think that your IIT marks are not so bad you look for a college like Bits Pilani which also give admission according to the IIT marks.

and for AIEEE i will suggest you to look for good private Universities like Lovely Professional University etc.

There are many other private colleges which gives admission on AIEEE rank basis.

So go for those colleges.

Yes definately you can get a good college on the basis of you AIEEE rank. You didnt mention you state otherwise i could have told you your chances.

With you rank you can easily get good colleges in your state that take admission through AIEEE score. There are many college who consider AIEEE score. You just need to search a bit. Take help from your seniors in you state in this matter

I dont think IIT JEE score can get you anywhere

There is a possibility that you will get get good admission through your AIEEE rank.
As everyone wants to go in IIT or NIT so you should look for state colleges or private colleges like Shardha University or Lovely professional University etc.

You can even try in Pilani institute just register there.

All government colleges are filled up in between the rank 13000 to 14500.These datas are for the AIEEE rankings,as your rank is far from these ranks so you will not get any government college.

But one thing is sure that you will definitely get the good private colleges in this ranks.
There are so many colleges in these ranks,such as,

1.Birla Institute Of Technology,Meshra(BIT Meshra)

2.Kallinga Institute Of Industrial Technology(KIIT)

3.Satyabhama Institute Of Technology etc

the college you get depend upon your reservation if you are an sc/st student then you can easily get any of the govt college,but if you are a general student then it is very diffcult for you to get any of the govt college in india,but try your luck,hope you can get the college of your choice.

yes you can easily get govt. college . but the thing is that you have to take part in state counselling conducted by different state technical universities for AIEEE student. through that you can get any govt. college.

yes you scored very well and you can get easily admission in any good college on the basis of your aieeescore.
i think you may not get iit but you can easily get admission in nits

you didnot describe your rank but i can say that you can get govt colleges on above marks
if you satisfy the quota condition then surely you can get a good govt college

This year IITJEE cutoff has settled at 190. And since you have 170 that means you have missed it by 2o marks.

So in this condition you cant expect any Governemnt Institute and IIT's also.

And also you have scored 134 in AIEEE which is also not enough to get you any NIT's or IIIT's and also any other Institute of NATIONAL iMPORTANCE. But there may be chance for you in any Government institute of your state or institute of state importance through your State Qouta.

But never worried if you cant get Government one, you have syill one of left for Deemed Universities.

Yes you can easily get into KIIT University (deemed University).

Besides these there are also Other best private institutes like- Amity, ICFAI, B.S,Addurrahman, R.L.Jalappa amd many more available for you.

Also there are various Institute specially in South India who accept IITJEE scores.

NIT Warangal is better then ISM Dhanbad, I am not saying that ISM is bad, but CSE is a new course at ISM.

And the course at NIT,W is much older and had recruiters like- Yahoo, Cisco etc...

Being a new Institute for CSE ISM also fails to provide 100% place ment to CSE last year.

ISM will take some tim to make its foot hold in CSE as compared to other TOP IIT's like- IITD, IITB etc...

But one issue is also there that is when you will pass your B.Tech in 2014 things will change and ISM will be deceloped better, because remember IIT' is IIT weather it is small one or bigger one.

So, from this point of view ISM is better then NIT Warangal.

Plan well before opting for anyone of them.

At present NIT takes lead but it may be also that after 4 years ISM will emarg as a big CS power like other IIT's.

i got 106 marks in iit jee and 138 marks in aieee. also in 12th exam of gujarat state board i got 86% in PCM and 83.25/120 in GUJCET. i m in open-general category. i m interested in mech engg only. so which engg college will be best for me available to me preferably in gujarat and maharashtra.

Well, dear your IITJEE rank is not enough to gfetch you a seat there.

But your AIEEE score is good enough to get you into some Good Institute like-

KIIT university (Deemed University)

ICFAI Institute of Technology

Amity University

R.L.Jallappa

AIMS

And Many more..........

Even you can expect some good institute of your own state. And also you have good score in GUJCET, there is nothing to worry.

If you have'nt appear for AIEEE councelling then you have done big mistake. But do any mistake in GUJCET.

It depends.Yes,you might get IT in NIT agartala through your AIEEE score but there is a very little amount of chance for it.
Go for it and have a try during counseling.
Otherwise there are many other good private colleges available for you with that rank.

Yes you can get admission in government colleges with this rank but may be not of the cream layer..there are many colleges all over the country,so attend the differnt counceling sessions conducted in different states and you will surely get admission in a governmnet college.You can also appear for the next year exam if you are not in a hurry to take admission.All the best.

with this rank in aieee, it is hard that you get admission through central counselling.
but there are some other colleges and universities which use aieee rank for their amission.
PANJAB UNIVERSITY is one of them try there, uiet is very good college.
