m gonna score 103 marks in iit-jee 2011. which college other then iit can i get? i m of gen. category.

Since your marks are very low.
Not many good institute admit students on the basis of IITJEE score as most of the private institutes conduct their own admission test.
So, the best option is to appear once again for IITJEE, but simultaneously also apply for BITSAT & VITEEE, AIEEE.
AIEEE is for NITs which are also very good, ranked after IITs.

my expected rank is under 20000 in aieee 2011 so plz tell me which best nit i may get???????

Dear Friend

Except IITs, T.S. Chanakya (for Marine engineering) is the only institution which
utilizes IIT-JEE score.

The admission authority of the institution decides their own cutoff and on the basis
of that cutoff eligible candidates are called for admission.
This procedure is valid for only those who apply separately for the institution within
the specified span of time.

If you have applied for the same then you may expect admission to the college but
if you haven't you won't get admission in any institution with this score.

You should go for admission through some other engineering entrance examination
or you should try next year.

Sorry but as you have't qualified for IITJEE so correspondingly you are not eligible for any other college.

As IITJEE are meant only for admission to IITs your failure in qualifying for it will not give you any other college.

Although earlier other institutes used to take admission form the IIT list like IIST used to take admission but from the year 2010 they all have gone for there own exams and hence leaving the IITJEE criteria.

All you can apply on that basis is admission to some private college as they may sdtand for it.

I.I.T is among the top college in India...
I am sorry to not get admissions in top college after getting less marks that is 103.
If you want you can take admissions in any low ranking private college in India.
In my opinion you should try next year so that you may get top college.
