yes you can get direct admission in IISER without giving the written exam . but you have to secure high percentage in your 12th exam ( above 93 % )

The IISER has 3 channel of admission

1. KVPY , SX , AB , SA ,SP

2. IIT - JEE rank list

3.iiser science aptitude test.

4. if you got high score in your 12th .

a cutoff list is being released by the IISER for the student paased 12th these year , if you fullfill the prescribed cutoff then you can get a direct admission .

HOW TO APPLY ~

You have to apply online,follow the instruction given in the website.

there will be a non refundable application fees for 500 rs , 250 for reserved class.

There will be a aptitude test by iiser. For that you have to get a minimum marks, Which is different for each board
Boards examination cut-off Marks are in this link

You can also get admission through IIT-JEE and KVPY Scholarship Examination.

Sorry , Only students passed second year higher secondary in 2011 and 2012 can apply.
