Dear,

Since you want a lateral entry it depends on your luck whether you will get a government college or not. Your rank is god and there is 85% chance that you will get government college but since it will depend on vacancies of seats it may be possible that you will not get seat in any government college.

In that case you can take admission in a good private college that provide both good education and placement opportunity to its students. Your marks are good so you can get top private engineering colleges under UPSEE.
