i belong to ST category
i am getting nearly 70-75 marks in jee mains..........
i am from chhattisgarh.......
can i get good NIT'S.....................
i want EEE or ECE branch..........
if not suggest me some colleges

yes you can get admission in NIT as there is quota for you .

Dear friend,

Since, you are from ST Category, so 70-75 marks are enough for you to get a decent College of JEE Mains.

You may get NIT also, if cut off is low for ST Category.

Upcoming result of JEE Mains will be declared on 7 May 2013.

So, if you secure AIR under 1 lakh, then also you may get good college like NIT, IIIT, etc.

As you are from Chhatisgarh, so through Home State Quota, there are also many chances for you to get NIT Raipur.

You can view result on official site of JEE Mains i.e http://jeemain.nic.in

After getting good rank, you can select appropriate college through their Rankings.

for NIT you need to appear for NIT and not IIT.
IIT would fetch you admission into IIT and few other colleges who are accepting IIT score.
Similarly NIT accept AIEEE. Few other college also accept AIEEE marks.
Being from ST, You have good chance to get into NIT and IIT.
Hope you wont let this opportunity to go waste.

With 51 marks, you wont be able to get into any IIT. Not even in preparatory course.
Though you have good chance in NIT as you have category.

With 102 marks you wont be able to get any IIT but NIT is within the reach as you have OBC. However, you may not get the best NIT.

However, may be you wont be able to get branch of your choice but surely you will get IIT.

If you have decided your branch and if you are not able to get it in IIT, then you can target top NIT which is very much within your reach

Though your marks are very low, but you do have slim chance of getting into NIT as you have category.
Generally marks required by ST candidates is 60% of general candidate ( approximation)
Assuming general candidates are able to get in at 180 marks.
You may get NIT. However, you will have to struggle to get top NIT.

You have not mentioned your category.

107 is bit low for NIT.

following is the cutoff list for various category.

Cut of for jee mains
JEE Main 2013 Cutoff for Registration to JEE (Advanced) 2013 Categorywise:

Category Cut-off Score

Common Merit List (CML) 113

Other Backward Class (OBC - NCL) 70

Scheduled Caste (SC) 50

Scheduled Tribe (ST) 45

If you belong to general category, then its very difficult for you to get into NIT.
However, you belong to any other category, then you have very good chance of getting NIT.

YES ..you get easily as you have SC category...
you get in
1.NIT TRICHY
2.NIT WARRANGAL
3.NIT CALICUT
3.NIT RORKEE

Hi

Surely you will get the NIT but you may have problem getting the top NIT.
you may get top NIT for other branches but as EEE or ECE branch is always the first priority of many, you may face difficulty in getting it in top NIT.
