Actually i want to join indian army,i hav an mba degree.is it possible?

MBA degree can't provide you any benefit but your under graduation course which you have completed may help you.

You can attempt for CDS and other such competitive exams like SSB which is of a fourteen year service if your age is below 25.

yeah obviously you have any right to join army,

being MBA degree !!! no such exam or entry for you, you should try after you graduation level or after your 12 class for NDA OR CDS etc.

but if you full the given criteria like
1.if you full the age limits then you can think of applying for the CDS now.
2.some more entries are there like
a)SSC technical
b)NCC 'C' certificate entry.

m.b.a.degree holder should also get opportunity to join indian army. why not m.b.a could be hired in indian army for the administration work.

Yes definitely you can join indian army after MBA degree only if you falls in the following criteria.

Eligibility criteria is:
1. Age- 19 to 25 years
2. Educational qualification- Graduation from a recognised university.
3. Date Commencement of Training- April and October
4. Duration of Training- 49 weeks

Yes of course you can join Indian army after MBA also

But you must satisfy these criteria given below

Eligibility criteria is:


1. Age- 19 to 25 years

2. Educational qualification- Graduation from a recognised university.

and if you have B.Tech as your graduation degree then you must have age in between 21 to 28 years and there will direct call for SSB.

yes, my friend you can join in Indian army.. but your MBA the P.G degree will not help you.. if you have a interest in Indian army then why should you go for MBA..
MBA is very different line compare to defense..
you can get a good job after completion of your MBA...
so, first decide that where you want to go..
As you have already completed your graduation and if your age is in between 19-25 years, then you will surely eligible for indian army..
if you have done your graduation in engineering then you can join in Indian army through the following schemes-

Yes, you can get job in Indian Army after MBA(Master of Business Administration).
You have to write CDS(Combined Defence Academy) which is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission)

* You should be the citizen of India.
* You should complete graduation from a recognized university
* You should study maths and physics as subject.
* The age limit must be within 19-24 years.
* Unmarried male candidates can only appear for the exam

Yeah you can join in Indian Army being having finished MBA as it is a post graduate course.

The possibilities of joining in the Indian Army is that you must write the entrance exam like NDA and CDS which offers the chance of joining in them.

NDA is National Defence Academy:

For writing this exam the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate and must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.The candidates must have finished their +2 from a recognized board.

CDS is Combined Defence Academy:

For writing this exam the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate and must have a age limit of 19-24 years.

The candidate must have done their graduation from a recognized university.

After completing MBA if you want to join Indian army then it is good choice there are lots of options in Indian army.
So if you want to join Indian army then you should apply for the CDS exam.
Here I am giving you the eligibility criteria for the CDS exam.

The candidate should be an Indian.
The candidate should have graduation with minimum 50% marks.
And if you want to join Indian navy or air force then you should have physics and mathematics in graduation.
For Indian army there is no need to have a particular subject in graduation.

Why not you are eligible to apply for the Indian Army examination . Only graduate degree is enough to appear for the Indian Army and master degree is not necessary . You can join Indian Army through various entries like CDS Exam , NCC Special Entry , Short Service Commission examination .

CDS Exam Eligibility Criteria ::

Applicant must be holding the degree course with any discipline of a recognized Institution and there is no percentage bar . But good percentage is helpful your further rounds of Interview and you have to satisfy the framed eligibility criteria of CDS Examination .

Applicant must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 24 years at the time of appearing and there is no upper age limits for CDS IMA Examination .

If you are studying in the final year of degree course or finished graduate degree may also eligible to apply for this examination .

CDS Examination is conducted twice in a year by UPSC .

NCC Special Entry Scheme ::

Applicant must be holding the degree course with any discipline of a recognized Institution and must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate of all the papers .

Applicant must have attained the age of 19 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years at the time of appearing and there is no upper age limits for NCC Special Entry Examination .

If you are studying in the final year of degree with 50% marks in last two year of degree course or finished graduate degree may also eligible to apply for this examination .

Applicant must have a NCC Senior Division B Certificate compulsory while applying for the NCC Special Entry Examination .

NCC Special Entry Scheme Examination is conducted by Indian Army twice in a year .

Applicant must be holding the degree course with any discipline of a recognized Institution and must secure at least 50% marks in aggregate of all the papers .
