Here are various type of entries for indian army for engineers.....

1. UES(University Entry Scheme)
Age limit- 19 to 24 yrs
Educational Qualification- Final Year BTech/BE Students
Gender- Male Only

2. TGC(Technical Graduate Course)
Age Limit - 19 to 24 yrs
Educational Qualification- BTech/BE degree with minimum 60% marks
Gender- Male Only

3. SSC(Technical)
Age limit - 19 to 24 yrs
Educational Qualification - BTech/BE degree with min 60% marks
Gender - Both Male and Female

4. CDSE(Combined Defence Services Exam)
Age limit - 19 to 23 yrs
Educational Qualification - Graduate in any discipline
Gender- Male (permanent commission)
Female(short service commission)

5. NCC Special Entry
Age Limt- 19 to 25 yrs
Educational Qualification-Graduate with 50% Aggregate marks, 2 Yrs service in NCC Senior Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam.
Gender- Male only

Through the above entries you will be called for a 5 day SSB (Services Selection Board) Interview followed by 5 day of medical examination in nearby military hospital.
Well it is advisable to be clear with the medical criteria of the Indian Army and get yourself evaluated by private/govt doctors first.

After B.Tech (ECE) you will join Indian Army through SSB (Staff Selection Board).

Indian Army is a central government organisation. Indian Army open this vacancy only for the technical candidates.

Indian Army recruit the candidates from all India entrance exam.
Minimum percentage criteria is 65 % and Minimum Age Limit is 18 to 27 years for General candidates.

In this exam there is 6 to 7 rounds i.e.
1. Written Exam 2. Group Discussion 3. IQ Test 4. Physical 5. Cycological Test 6. Medical Test & 7. Personal Interview

i finished my be(electronic and communication) last year and have an aggregate of 58%, how can i apply for army jobs, and i heard the criteria 60%, can i apply for the job???
