Yes, dear, you can surely get admission in B. Tech 2nd year through the lateral entry after completing a diploma in Electrical Engineering from West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) which is a statutory body under West Bengal government.

You can apply for lateral entry in B.Tech 2nd year by applying through state-level examinations set as the entry-level test for candidates such as test conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE- JELET) for lateral entries. You can also apply in various Universities that are dedicated to provide lateral entry to the students either through an Entry-level Examination or through direct entry for some of the reserved seats set for the students of lateral entry.
