As per the standards set by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, every individual willing to pursue chartered accountancy course have to qualify the common proficiency test conducted by them.
So, if you have qualified +2 level of examination or you are a graduate, in any discipline, you will have to write and qualify the test to enroll yourself for the IPCC.

Its not possible to go for IPCC without clearing CPT. All candidates who wish to be a CA need to first clear this level. You need to enroll atleast sixty days before the next exam. So you will be eligible only for the exam in June. You can visit the ICAI site to know the location of the center near you.

The Eligibility for the IPCC exam One should write the entrance of CPT .
The Central council given a notification that the candidate with 55% marks in second year of bachelor's degree as well as in the final year of the degree is eligible for IPCC exam directly without giving CPT exam.
You can Give IPCC exam directly But My Advice is theat Make Sure about the instructions given by the govt.

yes you can give ipcc exam without cpt..


Icai has relaxed the norms for entry into the ca curriculum and you can directly appear for ipcc without appearing cpt(common proficency test).

Students who have completed 2 years of graduation are exempt for appearing cpt and can directly appear ipcc.

Ipcc (icai, india) -- integrated professional competency course .



-it is a challenging profession that offers practice or job opportunities in the areas of accounting, auditing, corporate finance, project evaluation, and company and other business laws, taxation and corporate governance .



-icai has announced in its official notification released on 15th july 2011 , that the november 2011 exams will start from 1st november to 17th november.



-applications for admission into the ipcc november 2011 examination can be made either online or submitting physical form



-for online the openings are on from 9th august 2011 to 30th august 2011 .
& should be done thorough online portal of icai http://icaiexam.icai.org/ .
Filling the online application from 31st august, 2011 to 6th september 2011 has to pay a fine .

The central council has approved the new announcement of allowing a graduate student (b.com,b.sc,bba etc) to directly join the ipcc course.
With out writing the ca-cpt exam.


The council announced the that the eligibility criteria for graduates to write ipcc directly is as under


-for commerce graduate -55%
-non commerce graduate -60%.

Dear Friend,
Sorry to say but you will not be eligible to join the IPCC of CA course with out participating in the CPT examination.
To join the IPCC course of CA you have to clear CPT examination first and then you will become eligible to appear in the IPCC examination.
This rule of CA course is in effect from 2006-2007.

I am a B.sc student. I have 62% overall 3 years, I think im eligible for IPCC directly, May i know the fee structure and Last dates for payment of fee. What is the minimum duration period to get to write the exams.

Initially even a graduate students have to appear for the CPT exam to become CA that is chartered accountant .CPT is Common Proficiency test usually known as CPT or CPC is an Entry Level Course in Chartered Accountancy Course. So if you were interested to become a CA as their Profession then you will have to pass through this level.

But now the CENTRAL COUNCIL has announced that now a graduates and post graduates students can directly apply for the IPCC level without appearing for the CPT exam.IPCC is final stage for the students who wants to become a CA.

The following graudates and post graduates students are exempted from taking the CPT exam ::

Students who have completed their graduation in commerce streams and have studied any 3 full papers of 100 marks each out of::

Accounting,
Auditing,
Mercantile Laws,
Corporate Laws,
Economics,
Management including Financial Management,
Taxation including Direct Tax Laws, Indirect Tax Laws etc.,
Costing,
Business Administration,
Management Accounting

And have Passed the graduate/post-graduate examination by securing in the aggregate a Minimum of 55% of the Total marks or its equivalent grade from any recognized Universities including Open Universities.

2. Graduates/ Post Graduates who have completed their graduation in different streams have secured aggregate of 60% of the total marks in the examination or its equivalent grade from any Recognized Universities including Open Universities.

Note: If you are in final year then students are eligible for Provisional Registration and are eligible to Write IPCC exam ONLY after Appearing for Final year Graduation Exam.

Yes you can go for direct IPCC without giving CPt exam after your graduation as graduates are eligible for IPCC directly as per rules issued by ICAI.
So register yourself for IPCC as soon as possible.
CPT is only for those who are going to join CA course after passing their 12th exam.

i have done BBA with 70% and MBA finance with 70%

am i eligible for direct entry in ipcc.
please guide me..
have one question more that BBA is a commerce graduate or not.
