I completed my 12th exans 2 yrs ago. After dat i opted for
Chartered accountancy course... m doing ca final right now. But want to now make my career in indian armed forces. I will b turning 20 on 17th aug 2013.
So can i now apply for nda entrance exams???? If no den is there any other

NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct in twice time in a year.NDA two exams are NDA I and NDA II .The details of this exam is given below-

Criteria for NDA exam : -

1 )Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA Exam .

2)Final year of 12th standard candidate are applicable for NDA exam.

3)No , Percentage criteria .

4)Having Citizenship of India .

5)Unmarried male candidate are applicable.

6)Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old .There is no age relaxation provide for reserved candidate .

Your age is over 19 years old so as per age criteria you are not applicable for NDA exam .

But you have chances to join for Defense sector.

So first you have complete your graduation degree then you can apply in CDS ,UES ,AFCAT exam . If CA is equivalent to graduation degree then you are eligible for attend these exams .

NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e. NDA-I and NDA-II.This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

* Sex:- Male.
* Nationality:- Indian.
* Marital status:- Unmarried or single.
* Physically and mentally fit.

NDA stand for National Defence Service

This exam is conducted by UPSC twice in Year in Month of June and December called NDA-II and NDA-I......


NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

~~Indian Army
~~Indian Navy
~~Indian Air Force

Your age is over 19 years old so , you are not eligible for National Defence Service Exam...


Eligibility and Criteria:

candidate has completed 12th from a recognized board (with Physics and Maths for Air Force and Navy)

Final years students also eligible for it...

There are No ,Percentage criteria...

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years....

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it..

A Candidate have nationality of INDIA..

But,you can apply for Combined Defense Services(CDS) after completion of your graduation degree....

Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized University are eligible for it...

Final years students also eligible for this exam....

Age Limit :-

Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

Citizenship of India....
