CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation. To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate Level preliminary exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for SSC CGL exam. The minimum qualification required to appear for this exam is bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. So, being a second year diploma student of mechanical engineering or even after its completion, you are not eligible for CBI. You must complete your bachelor's degree so as to appear for SSC CGL. The age limit for Sub Inspector posts inCBI is 20-30 years. Official website of SSC is www.ssc.nic.in. |
