With age 18 years and percentage of marks in 10+2 as 48.8 %, you can apply for the National Defense Academy exams to join Indian Army.

Only male candidates who are unmarried are eligible to apply for the exam. It conists of written test and Service Selection board.

You have completed 12th standard and your age is 18 years old so you are eligible for Indian Army through NDA exam.

Candidates who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard are eligible for NDA exam. Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years.

Written examination will be divided into 2 parts-

Mathematics-300 marks.
General ability Test- 600 marks.

Total time duration for 2 papers is 300 mins

General Ability Test -

English 200 marks
General Knowledge 400 marks

You have to appear for NDA exam conducted by UPSC in order to join Indian Army. UPSC conducts this exam twice a year with the name NDA I and NDA II .

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.It has three wings;

Indian Military Academy.

Indian Naval Academy.

Indian Air Force Academy.

Nationality : Indian.

Age limit :16.5 years to 19 years.
