No, you’re not eligible for Indian Navy after passing 10th class.

If you are interested to join for Indian Navy and you must have to complete 12th class from a recognized board then apply for NDA Examination.


You must have to crack the NDA Examination.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.

NDA Examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings:

• Indian Air Force
• Indian Navy
• Indian Army


The Eligibility Criteria:

>> The candidate must have to pass 12th class from a recognized university.

>> And the final year of 12th class students also to apply for this NDA Examination.

>> The age limit in between 16.5 to 19 years.

>> The candiate must be male person & unmarried and medically fit.

>> The candidate must be citizen of India.

I am sorry to say that you can't join Indian Navy after passing 10th class..

If you want to join Indian Navy then you have to pass 11th and 12th with physics, chemistry and maths...

After this you have to qualify N.D.A exam..

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year..

Age limit for this exam is 16.5-29 year..

There are many opportunities available in defence sector.
To apply for navy many opportunities are there after 12th and graduation.
Candidates with science stream can get into technical branch of navy.

PCM is must for students with science background for navy.

Sorry you are not eligible to apply NDA examination because the minimum educational qualification is 10 +2.

If you fulfill the following eligibility criteria after 12 th standard you can eligible to apply NDA.

You should be a citizen of india.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to appear.

10+2 is the educational qualification.

Age should be 16.5years to 19years.

You wants to serve the nation , which is really appreciable , But you can not apply for this NDA examination, as the minimum educational requirement for this exam is 12th degree.
NDA stands for - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY..

The NDA examination, conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC] every years for twice in a year.

For appear in the NDA examination, you must have at least a 12th degree from a recognized board.

But a candidate with out maths, can apply for only military branch of the Indian army.Because for apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE , he must needs the subjects Maths & Physics with at least 60% in 12th [aggregate].

The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,..
remarks that, there is not any kind of age limit relaxations criteria is applicable for the any reserved category.

Also, you must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried.

For NDA exam candidate pass 12th science math,physics,chemistry as subjects.

Age- 16.5 to 19 years

5.Height criteria :

you are interested in commerce you should go for commerce
you are interested in history you should go for arts

But according to my opinion you should either choose science or commerce because these two subject have more
