No, just after passing class 10th, you cannot join Indian Navy.

You can join Indian Navy after passing class 12th.
UPSC conducts the NDA exams for candidates who have apssed class 12th or who are in class 12th.

Eligibilty to apply for the NDA exams is:

Educational Qualifications:
Army Wing-12th Pass in any stream

Navy & Airforce Wing- 12th Pass with Subject Physics and Maths as subjects.

AGE- Minimum age 16.5 years
Maximum age- 19 years

Only Unmarried Male candidates can apply

Selection Procedure involves:

your questioned at right time because after 10th you have to choose your subjects for 11th n 12th and that decide your career in NAVY.

For you NAVY is just two years away.

You have to go for Maths, Physics and Chemistry subjects in 11th std.

Have to get at least 60% marks in 12th board exam.

and by the time your age must lie in between 16 1/2 yrs to 19 yrs.

Then you can opt for National Defence Examination- NDA

This exam is held twice a year.

After your 12th go for it and prepare maths well.

Sorry to say but you cannot join Indian Navy after passing the 10th standard.

This is because the minimum educational qualification required to join Indian Navy is 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

As you are interested in joining Indian Navy , then NDA Examination is the best option for you. Through this examination you can join the Indian Navy at your earliest.

This Examination gives you chance to join the following wings of Indian Defense :

a) Indian Army

b) Indian Navy

c) Indian Air Force

But for all this you have to crack the NDA Examination.

The NDA Examination is conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission as NDA-I & NDA-II.

The NDA Examination requires the following qualifications from candidates :

a) The candidate must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

b) Candidates who are currently in standard 12th can appear in the NDA-II Examination.

c) The candidate must have an age between 16.5-19 years.

d) No Relaxation in upper age is given to candidate whether he/she belong to any category.

f) Girl candidates are not allowed to appear in this exam.

To join Indian Navy you have to complete 12th standard with PCM stream.

After that you can join Indian Navy through NDA Entrance Examination which is organized by UPSC.
