hi dear, let u must be inform that the eligibility for I.P.S is mininum graduation and age doesnt mainly matter!

You cannot become IPS with this qualification of 10th class. Graduation is required to apply for IPS post. Age limit for IPS post is 21- 30 years. You have to attend UPSC Civil Services exam as part of this. If you clear written examination you can attend physical test and personal interview also.

As the eligibility criteria for becoming an IPS is to pass the CIVIL EXAMS and the age to attempt for civils is between 21-30 years you cannot directly go for it without doing civils so,you are not eligible for it as aperson of 18 years old...

The age limit for applying to IPS is 21 years to 28 years.

As you are just 18 years old, you need to wait few more years in order to apply for the examination.

The exam is conducted by UPSC and the name of the examination is CIVILS Exam.

You are not eligible for joining in IPS as you are lacking in the age which is needed for joining in for the post by writing the entrance exam for it.

You need to write the IPS exam in order to join in for the post of IPS which is one of the Indian Civil Service post and this exam is being conducted by UPSC and is held every year

The needed age limit needed for the IPS Exam is that the candidate appearing for the exam must have a age limit of 21-30 years of age and this is for general Category candidate.

Anyways the minimum age needed is 21 years and as you are 18 years old you are ineligible for applying for the exam

You said you are only 10th pass then i am sorry you are way back to the basic qualification so stop thinking about it as of now and first of all get the basic qualification

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. This exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every Year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Candidate should have complete the Graduation from any recognized University with any stream.

Candidate should required the no minimum percentage for this exam.

Candidate age limit should be between 21 to 30 years.

So you are not eligible for this exam. Because you can just 18 years.

The upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories.

3 years for OBC.

5 years for SC\ST.

Both male & female candidates are eligible for this exam.

4 attempts required for appearing this exam from general categories.

7 attempts for OBC

No, you are not eligible to join IPS at the age of 18 years after Madhyamic passed as the minimum academic qualification for IPS is Graduation Degree and minimum age of entry is 21 years.

Your age is not sufficient enough to apply for the Indian Police Service at this moment. You will have to wait 3 more years to apply for the Civil Services Examination.

When you do apply for the Indian Police Service make sure you have graduation degree from a recognized college. It is necessary to have completed graduation to apply for the Indian Police Service entrance exam.

As you have only completed your Intermediate course and your age is only 18 years,so you will not be able to apply for IPS(Indian Police Services) Exam conducted by the UPSC.However you can become an IPS Officer by applying in Assistant Commandant Officer exam and the minimum age required to apply for Assistant Commandant Officer exam is 20 years.

To Apply for Assistant Commandant Officer exam you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :

Educational Qualification :

Sorry you are not eligible for IPS examination with Madhyamik qualification and also your age is below the required age for IPS Exam criteria. Graduation is the minimum required qualification for IPS exam. Hence study till Graduation to become eligible for this examination.

Sorry to say but you cannot join the Indian Police Services [IPS] at the age of 18 with educational qualification of just Primary Level.

This is because the minimum educational qualification required for Civil Services Exam is Graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* Candidates in the final year of graduation can also apply for the Civil Services Exam.

Also , The Age Limit for the Civil Services Exam are :
