Can I join Masters in Environmental Engineering in IITs or NITs after completion of BE in Chemical Engineering?


i have done my B.E in chemical engineering so can i do masters in environment engineering from any of the iits or nits?

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. It is conducted in more than twenty disciplines. GATE examination is conducted in Chemical engineering

The eligibility criteria for Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering is:

Candidate must have done bachelor's degree in technology or engineering from a recognized university. Master's degree holder in science, computer application, statistics can also apply for this exam.

No, you can not apply for GATE exam in other discipline when you have done bachelor's degree in chemical engineering. You can only apply for GATE in chemical engineering discipline
