The minimum educational qualification required for N.D.A. & N.A. examination is 12th or
equivalent qualification from some State Board, CBSE, ICSE or other Govt. of India recognized board.

Also, one can apply for the exam if he is going to appear 12th board in the same year.

If you are studying in 11th or you are studying in 10th then presently you are not eligible for the exam.
You can apply for the exam from next year onward.

For Army wing of National Defence Academy, 12th in any stream is eligible.
For Air Force and Navy wings of National Defence Academy, 12th with Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics is required.

You can not join N.D.A after 10th

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:-
>> Indian Army
>> Indian Air force
>> Indian Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year
> Medically fit

Your question is some what defective. Any way if you want to join NDA(NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) then you have to crack NDA entrance exam which is held twicw a year as NDA-I and NDA-II conducted bu UPSC for entry in to three wings of NDA i.e. Army wing, Naval Wing and Air Force Wing

One unmarried Indian citizen, should have completed the 12th standard from any discipline for Army wing and with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for Naval and Air Force wing to appear for NDA. Final year 12th student can also apply for NDA.

You will not be able to join NDA after class 12th as the minimum educational qualification required to join NDA is class 12th pass.
The minimum eligibility criteria to become eligible to apply for the NDA examination is that the candidate should has passed class 12th or he is appearing in the final examination of class 12th. The age of the candidates should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.
So you will not be eligible to appear in the NDA examination until you will pass 10+2.

So first complete 10+2 and then apply for the NDA examination.

No, you can not join NDA after 10th as minimum Educational Qualifications are:

(i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

10th class is not sufficient for NDA Examination. You should be 10+2 pass if you want to apply for NDA Examination.

Sorry to say that 10th passed students are not allowed to appear for the NDA examinations which are conducted twice every year by the UPSC in the month of april and august respectively.

The minimum academic qualifications required to appear for the NDA examinations is 10+2 passed/appearing from a recognized board .

If you are interested in joining Indian army then you can from be from other streams also like commerce ,arts etc.

Coming to at the age limitations,the age limit for the NDA examination is between 16.5 to 19 years.No relaxation is provided to any one.

You must be unmarried male Indian.You should be physically fit.

The examinations consists of two stages that is written test and SSB .Here is the examination pattern:
