Yes, definitely you are eligible to study B.Tech course after completion of your Polytechnic course in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Candidates who have passed three years Polytechnic course from a recognised board are eligible to get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course through lateral entry admission process. To get lateral entry admission in B.Tech course, you have to appear and qualify the entrance examinations like LEET, ECET, JELET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state entrance examinations board.

You can apply for Lateral Entry Entrance Test to get admission in Bachelor of technology directly in second year of engineering.

Eligibility criteria for LEET:

*Diploma candidates must have at least 60% marks in diploma to apply for LEET. Final year diploma candidates can also apply for LEET.

*The application form of LEET is released in March to April every year by different state technical universities.

You can secure good rank in LEET that will help you in getting admission in B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics engineering.
