Hello friends, I want to study Commerce in 11th standard. I have just given my Board exam of 10th standard and waiting for the result. I would like to know that I can study Biology in Commerce or not?

No, you can't study Biology subject with 11th standard Commerce stream. If you are interested to study Biology subject, then you have to choose Medical Science stream for pursuing your Higher Secondary course. So, you can study either Biology with Science stream or only Commerce stream in your Higher Secondary course.

** As per my knowledge, no you are not eligible to study Biology with Commerce in 11th standard.

** If you want to study Biology then you have to take admission in Science stream.

Biology is from Science stream and Commerce stream is different.
You cannot take Biology alongwith Commerce in Higher Secondary Education.
But you can take Mathematics in Commerce.

Actually if you are studying Biology then you cannot study commerce and if you are interested to study commerce then you can not study Biology because these are two separate streams and you have to study separately.

Biology and Commerce are two different streams and if a candidate wants to study Biology then he is not eligible to study commerce and if you want to study Commerce then you will not be able to study biology.
You can choose just a single stream in your 11th standard.

If we talk about CBSE, then there are 5 subjects in 10+2 level, out of which 3 are complusory, one is language subject and one optional subject. If a candidate wants then he can choose Biology as a optional subject after taking PCM as main subjects and vice-versa.

If you want to study Biology along with the mainstream Commerce then you can do it. You have to choose one language subject and in optional, you need to opt Biology. In this way your subjects would be like given below :

1. Business Studies
2. Accounts
3. Economics
4. English (language)
5. Biology (optional)

No, you cannot study Biology with Commerce in 11th standard.

Biology and Commerce are two different streams.

Either you can take admission in biology or in commerce.

Sorry to inform you but you can not study Commerce and Biology together in +2 level. There is no chance to study Biology and Commerce together. Both the subjects are from different stream. Biology is from science stream and Commerce is from Commerce stream.

If you want to do commerce in 11th standard, then you can take Commerce with Mathematics or Commerce without Mathematics.

And if you want to take Biology, then you can take Biology with Mathematics or Biology without Mathematics.

Mathematics is the subject, you can take with both subjects.

Let me tell you that Biology is not included in Commerce.
Biology comes under Science stream and Commerce is other stream.
If you want to study Biology then you can opt Science stream but you are not allowed to study Biology in Commerce stream as because it is not possible.
