Can I write KCET while residing in Andhra Pradesh?
I am resident of andhra pradesh.i able to write the k.cet ..please tell me if can i do it

Yes, you can write KCET while residing in Andhra Pradesh. The minimum qualification required to apply for KCET exam is 12th pass from a recognized board. You should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination. You can procure the application form and the brochure by speed post. For this, you need to send an envelope which should be self-addressed cloth-lined and of the size 25 cm by 30 cm. A DD for Rs. 5,000/- drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore". The last date to submit the filled application will be in the second week of March 2012.

I studied in Karnataka till second standard and then continued my studies in Mumbai. Can I write KCET? My mother did her entire schooling in Karnataka.

Yes,you are eligible for KCET even after completing Diploma from Andhra Pradesh.
KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test . KCET exam is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore for admission in courses like Medical, Dental, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Naturopathy,etc. The eligibility criteria for KCET exam are as under :- -The candidate should have passed 12th class with at least 50%(40% for OBC/SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate from a recognized board . -The candidate should also be qualified 12th with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science as optional subjects. -The minimum age limit for KCET is 17 years and there is no upper age limit to apply for the exam . |

I have taken bipc in A.P NOW I want to do B.E (food science) in Bangalore please let me know the eligibility of entrance exam and my parents are not from Karnataka. reply as soon as possible thank you in adv. |
