i am studying B.E final year, now i can write the VAO exam..please tell me can I

Yes, you can apply for VAO exam with a B.E degree. 12th class is the qualification required to apply for the same. 21 years is the minimum age limit for this. Maximum age limit for this is 30 years. You will have to study subject areas like general knowledge, current affairs, logical reasoning and English Language etc for this exam.

VILLAGE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER (VAO)

The VAO examination is conducted by the TNPSC (Tamil-Nadu-Public-Service-Commission).

The educational requirements for this examination is a graduation degree or its equivalent degree. Candidates must possess minimum general educational qualification viz. must have passed S.S.L.C Public examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to higher secondary courses of studies (or) to college courses of studies.

Selection procedure-

1. written test
2. interview

The age limit for this examination is 21-30 years, there are 3 & 5 years of the age limit relaxations are also applicable for the OBC & SC\ST candidates,.
21-33 years for the OBC candidates,
21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates,.

Candidates,who belongs to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes must have 21 years.
For General candidates must have the minimum age of 21 years and the max age limit is 30 years.

VAO Exam Details:-

Full form of VAO is Village Administrative Officers. This exam is conducted by the Tamilnadu Public Service Commission whenever there is a vacancy for the same. Usually two separate notifications is published: One for the SC/ST candidates and the second one for all other category candidates.

Educational Qualification: To give this exam you just need a S.S.L.C. Certificate. In other words any 10th pass out candidate can sit for this exam. So even though you are highly qualified but if you have the 10th result with you then you are eligible to sit for this exam.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit is 18 years for all. For general category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years.

Age Relaxation: There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. For them the upper age limit is 40 years.

Proficiency in Local Language: You need to be well versed in Tamil since you will be posted in the villages of Tamilnadu. On not knowing the language you need to sit for the Tamil exam within one year from the date of selection.

Medical Certificates: You need to show the authorities concerned medical certificates to prove that you are physically fit to give this exam.

Exam Pattern: Questions will be of SSLC standard. A total of 300 marks have been allotted for the exam out of which you need to get 90 marks to qualify. You will get three hours to complete the whole paper. Paper will be set in both English and Tamil. Questions will come from the following sections:
