can we do M.COM AND PART TIME MBA from mumbai university at a time?

you may do M.Com and MBA at a time in distance education. but it will be very difficult for you. you will not learn good either M.Com or MBA.


also MBA study and M.Com study is not so much easy. first you should complete one of this study and then join to any work and then do other course on part time.


i think it is better to do MBA if you are interested to do MBA. try to take admission in MBA in a good institution. for this appear in MBA entrance examination like CAT, MAT etc. after completion of MBA the job opportunity and scope will be very high. easily you will get good job there is no need to do M.Com. try to do MBA in full time basis. then job opportunity will be more.


but if you think that first you will complete your M.Com then you will go for MBA then try to first finish the M.Com then go for MBA. to continue this two at a time will be very much difficult.


now you should decide own what you will do and choose the best way for you.

You can do M. Com and Part Time MCA simulteniously. if MCA is through distance education.

I would like to suggest you not to do both the courses simulteniously. because both the courses are tough, if one does them sincerely.

So you decide your own which course you want to do.

I would like to suggest you to go for M.Com first because this is your principal stream.

Very tough choice to have, both have a lot of work load. Mcom and MBA have certain common subjects, still they vary by a lot. My suggestion will be not to study them both together at the same time. First complete Mcom and then go for MBA. You can be quite strong in financial management fundamental and then do an MBA specialising in finance. That would be a real good qualification to have and you can land up a firm career in finance management.

I had taken admission into M.Com in 2006-07 but did not pass the part-1. Then i joined a company , currently i am working over there. Now i want to take admission for full time MBA in finance (MMS) from Mumbai university, can i take admission ? because the validity of M.com is for 5 years and i heard that we can not do 2 courses from same university. And also if i take admission for part-time MBA (mumbai university) can i complete my M.Com at a same time?
