Can mothers apply for IAS exam? What is the minimum criteria? Is there any age limit to apply or so? Can you please guide me with the required details as soon as possible? It will be helpful if you can provide me the needed information soon. Thanks!

Yes, the female candidates who are mothers can apply for IAS examination, if they satisfy the eligibility criteria required to appear in IAS examination. Candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a recognised university and those who are in the age range of 21 to 32 years are eligible to apply for IAS examination. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates to appear in IAS examination.

I.A.S stands for Indian Administrative Service and UPSC conducts Civil Service examination for final recruitment.
The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline and age limit to appear for examination is 21-32 years with relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category. So, if you have above qualification you can appear for examination and after qualifying in all three stages of examination will be eligible for final recruitment as an I.A.S Officer. Civil Services examination ( sometimes in general called as IAS examination ) is held by UPSC once every year.
*** The minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in Civil Services examination are as here under :- * You must have the citizenship of India. * Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms. * You must have completed your bachelor degree course or must be in the final year of same from a recognized university. As far as you are concerned about the eligibility of mothers for Civil Services examination then yes mothers too are eligible for appearing in same examination. To appear for Civil Service examination one need to have passed bachelor degree in any discipline and age between 21-32 years relaxation in upper age limit for reserved ( OBC, SC/ST ).
So, even if you became mother and have above qualification you can appear for examination and after qualifying in three stages ( Preliminary, Mains and Interview ) will be eligible for final selection as an I.A.S Officer. The entrance exam conducted for selection of candidates in Indian Administrative Services is called Civil Services exam. Civil Services exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The minimum qualification for this exam is that candidate should be graduate and attained minimum age of 21 years.
The upper age limit is 32 years and three years upper age relaxation to OBC candidate and five years to SC/ST candidates. Yes, mothers can apply for Civil Services exam if they are graduate and within age limit. |

Yes, mother are eligible to appear in Civil Service examination. There is no limitation on appearing in examination on family status.
The eligibility to appear in examination is :- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from recognised university. Final year candidates can also apply. The age limit is 21-32 years with 3 years relaxation for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST. So, if you have the above qualification, you can appear for examination. Married candidates either male or women can apply for Civil Services examination for joining different services like IAS, IPS, IRS etc. The eligibility criteria for Civil Services examination is as below:
*Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for Civil Services examination. *The age limit for this exam is 21-32 years for candidates belonging to open category. There is three years upper age relaxation for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates. If you are a married women who is graduate and within age limit then without any doubt you can apply for this exam in 2018. |

Yes, definitely mothers and other ladies can also apply for IAS Exam.

First thing I would like to let you know that the official name of IAS examination is Civil Services examination and same is held by UPSC once every year for recruitment of administrative officer like IAS, IPS, IFS, etc. .
