NTSE or National Talent Search Examination can only be appeared by students currently studying in Class X.

The exam is conducted by NCERT every year.

Application forms is available in every state of India including UTs in online mode.

Applications forms can also be obtained by contacting State/UT officer.

Also, the form must be signed by the Principal of the schools and submitted to the State/UT officer along with payment of fees.

The coming NTSE exam will be conducted on 5,6 and 13 November nationwide.

Class 8 students cannot apply for NTSE Exam.

>>> ELIGIBILITY

Students of Class X studying in recognized schools are eligible to appear for the respective Class x Stage I examination conducted by the States/UTs in which the schools are located. There will be no domicile restriction.

>>> EXAMINATION PATTERN

Stage-I
At the State/UT level will comprise two parts, namely

(a) Mental Ability Test(MAT)
(b) Language Test(LT)
(c) Scholastic Ability Test(SAT) covering social sciences, sciences and mathematics.

Stage-II
At National level will comprise
(a) Mental Ability Test(MAT)
(b) Language Test(LT)
(C) Scholastic Ability Test(SAT) covering social sciences, sciences and mathematics.
