Hello friend,

No, IT or students of software sector are not eligible to apply for NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation).

Every year NTPC invites application for graduate engineers from the disciplines like: Electrical,Civil, Chemical, mining, electronics, Mechanical etc..

There is no particular job position for CSE or IT graduates.

hi

yes you are eligible to apply

NTPC exam is like other government public sector exams and the eligibility criteria, syllabus, marks, selection process are same

there are

1.written test

2.group discussion

3.personal interview

those who succeed in those 3 stages and scored high marks got selected by NTPC

ALL the best
