Can a visually impaired candidate of OBC category qualify in the general list if he or she scores equal qualifying number to that of a general category? Can you please provide me with the information on the same soon? Awaiting the response.

Yes, if a candidate has scored equal to or more than the marks required for a general candidate for selection, he must be considered a general category candidate. It doesn't matter whether you are from OBC/ST/SC if you have attained the marks equivalent to the UR (Unreserved) category you will be allotted seat from UR category. This rule is followed by almost all the competitive examinations held all over India by different recruiting commission.
