General Studies and

Optional Subject(to be selected form 25 subjects Agriculture,Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science,Botany,Chemistry,Civil Engineering,Commerce,Economics,Economics (for Visually

Impaired candidates),Electrical Engineering,Geography,Geology,Geology (for Visually Impaired candidates),Indian History,Law,Mathematics,Mechanical Engineering,

Medical Science,Philosophy,Philosphy (for Visually Impaired candidates),Physics,Political Science,Public Administration,Psychology,Statistics,Sociology,Zoo logy)

Now as Seeing From Computer Science then Mathematics would be the Better option because Mathematics is the Subject till your 2nd year II Semester, So Mathematics would be the Better option.

Dear friend you can choose another subject because cse student is not allowed that,s why you choose another subject in which you are interested..........

if you are interested in electrical,civil,mechanical in any subject interested then you can try with this exam.............

this is the order by government and you can't change this.............

that's why you should choose another path for IAS.......................

Yes you can surely go for IAS exams after your B.E if you satisfy following:

Eligibility For Civil Service Exam (IAS ) :-

you must be A bachelor's Degree from Recognized university.

Age limits are 21 to 30 years of age.

you are eligible for IAS exam.

from now onwards it will be called CSAT .and there is no optional subject in it so
do not worry you can take any subject .

Eligibility criteria :

for IAS entrance exam is that you have passed your graduation .

Age limit

for IAS exam is between 21-30 year.
for SC/ST it is 35 years
for OBC it is 33 years

maximum number of attempt:
4 times for general
7 times for OBC
no limit for SC/ST .

Hello friend,
Being a graduate, you are eligible for the Civil Service Exam provided you are within the age limit. The minimum eligible age is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category, 33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ST.
The Civil Service exam is divided into three stages.
Preliminary exam (CSAT)
Main exam
Interview
The Civil Servcie Aptitude Test (CSAT) will have two compulsory papers.
The syllabus will be as follows carrying 200 marks each.
Paper 1
Current events of national and international importance
History of India and Indian national movement
Indian and World Geography- physical, social, economic geography of India and the world
Indian Polity and governance – constitution, political system, panchayati raj, public policy, Rights issues, etc.
Economic and social development – sustainable development, poverty, inclusion, demographics, social sector initiatives etc.
General issues on environmental ecology, bio-diversity and climate change
General science.

Paper 2
Comprehension
Interpersonal skills including communication skills
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision making and problem solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc. (Class X level),
Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. –Class X level)
English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

The main exam comprises of compulsory and optional subjects.
The compulsory subjects for the Main exam are one Indian language, English, Essay and General studies.
Following are the optional subject from which one can select any subject depending upon the area of expertise.
Agriculture Mathematics, Animal Husbandry & Vetinary Science, Mechanical Engineering Botany, Medical Science, Chemistry, Philosophy, Civil Engineering, Physics, Commerce,Political Science ,Economics ,Psychology Electrical Engineering Public Administration, Geography, Sociology, Geology, Statistics, Indian,History, Zoology,Law.

Since there wont be any optional paper in CSAT, you will have to appear for both papers. But as far as the optional papers in the Main Examination is concerned, you must select the subject you are comfortable with. Selection of subject must be based on your expertise and knowledge in a particular subject. But one of the most preferred optional subject is Sociology. The subject is neither too technical nor the language is too difficult. Many candidates belonging to engineering and medical background prefer the subject. Apart from all the factors, the syllabus is also shorter than other subjects. So apart from a subject from your stream, you may choose Sociology as the another optional paper in the Main Exam.

Yeah you can definitely become IAS after your B.E

but the problem is you will not have any optionals that are related to CSE

you can choose a general subject like

->Geography

->psychology

->Indian history.
like that any optionals..

can be selected.

IAS is conducted by UPSC and it is a Indian civil service exam.The eligibility for writing this exam is:

Eligibility:

The candidates must be a citizen of India.
The candidate must have a age limit of 21-30 years of age.
The candidates must have finished their degree from a recognized university.
The candidate can apply for the exam while doing their final degree exams.
