Candidate who is 18 years old can appear in NDA-1 2016?


My date of birth is 10 may 1997. Am I eligible for nda-1 (april) 2016 exam? Please tell my eligibility for nda-1 2016 exam.

Yes,you will be eligible for NDA-1 2016 exam at an age of 18 years .

NDA stands for National Defense Academy.It has three wings;

Indian Military Academy.

Indian Naval Academy.

Indian Air Force Academy.

NDA entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year with the name NDA I and NDA II .

The eligibility criteria for NDA exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The age limit for the candidate is 16.5 years to 19 years.

-Only unmarried male candidate can apply for the exam.

-The qualification required to join NDA is 12th class of 10+2 education system from a recognized board for Indian Military Academy and 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics for Indian Naval Academy and Indian Air Force Academy.

-The selection process involves

*Written Examination

* Personal Interview by Service Selection Board

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards required to join NDA.

-The Written exam is conducted for 2 subjects,

* Maths -300 marks

* General Ability Test-600 marks

The time duration for the written exam is 2 1/2 hours.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in NDA-1 2016 examination if your DOB is 10th May, 1997. The minimum age required to appear in NDA examination is 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years. Candidates who have completed 12th standard or equivalent from any recognized board are eligible to appear in NDA-1 2016 examination. Since, you will attain the age of 19 years at the time of NDA-1 2016 examination, you are eligible to appear in NDA-1 2016 examination.

Yes you can appear in NDA exam in 2016 if you fulfil the eligibility criteria:
1. A candidate must have done 12th from recognized board.
2.A candidate must have scored more than 50% marks in 12th board.
3.A candidate should have age between 16.5-19 years.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is an academy responsible for providing necessary education and training to those who are interested to become officer in the Indian defense.

To join the same one needs to clear NDA examination which is organized by Union Public Service Commission twice every year which are known as NDA I & NDA II.

Also the NDA had three wings which are known as Indian Navy, Indian Army and Indian Air force.

The qualifications required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :-

* You must be an unmarried male candidate having the citizenship of India.

* Your age must lie within 16.5 years to 19 years.

* You must have either completed your higher secondary school degree or must be in the final year of same degree course with any discipline from a recognized board of education. But for joining Indian navy or Indian Air force you must have physics, chemistry and mathematics as your main subjects.

* You must be physically and mentally tough as per the service requirement norms.

Also the examination is conducted in two stages which are called as Written examination and Service Selection Board interview respectively.

Now as you are around 18 years right now hence you are eligible for NDA I 2016 if you satisfy all the required qualifications given above.

NDA is the National Defense Academy. The entrance exam for this academy is conducted by the UPSC two times every year.

Eligibility criteria for this exam:

You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board like CBSE, ICSE, NIOS etc. Even if you are appearing for 10+2 board exams, you can apply for the exams.

The age limit for the NDA exams: 16.5-19.5 years for candidate of every category. At the age of 18 years, you are eligible for the exams.

You must know that only unmarried male candidate can apply for this exam.

Entrance test consists of written test and Service Selection board. You must clear both to be selected in the exam.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the NDA examination conducted by the UPSC twice every year in the month of April and the September.

The examination is conducted for the recruitment of the candidates in the defence services. The eligibility to appear for th examination is :-
* Candidates must have passed or appearing in the board examination with the recognised board.
* Candidates age must be between the 16.5-19.5 years.
* Candidates have the PCM in the 10+2 to eligible for the Navy and the Air Focre.

The examination is conducted in the two stages as written and the SSB. The candidates have to qualify in both the stages for the final selection. The written paper consists of the two paper of 300 and 600 marks respectively. Paper I is of the mathematics and Paper II of the General Ability.

After qualifying the examination candidates are eligible for the SSB. It is a 5-10 days test procedure. For information about the examination visit at the www.upsc.gov.in.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the National Defence Academy examination at the age of the 18 years.

The minimum required qualification to appear for the examination is candidates who have passed the 10+2 from any recognised board and have their age between 16.5-19 years.The candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

The other eligibility to join the NDA is candidates must have passed in the different stages of the examination for the final selection. For any other information visit at the www.upsc.gov.in.
