Yes, you can appear in JEE 2016 exam.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks are eligible for JEE Main 2016 exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

Those candidates who have secured top 1,50,000 rank (including all categories) in JEE Main examination are eligible for JEE Advanced exam 2016.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.

I am really sorry to say this you are bot eligible to apply for JEE Main's 2016 examination. Since only the candidates are eligible having below any of the followings.

<> Either you should complete 12th 2014 and 2015.

<> Final year candidates can also eligible to apply for " JEE Mains 2016".

<> Only three attempts are there for " JEE Main's "

JEE stands Joint Entrance Examination and it is held by Central Board of Secondary Education once every year for the selection of deserving candidates for their technical course from government engineering colleges like IIT, NIT, IIIT, ISM and top private engineering colleges.

The same examination is held in two stages which are known as JEE Mains and JEE Advance respectively.

--> For appearing in the JEE Mains one needs to have the qualifications given below:-

* You must be an Indian resident with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years by the 31st December of that year in which you are giving the same examination.

* You must have completed or pursuing the final year of your higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education.

--> Also for appearing in JEE Advance, you first need to clear the JEE Mains along with that much aggregate in your 12th board examination that keeps you among the top 20 percentile students of your respective board.

Also the maximum attempt provided for clearing the same examination is 3 consecutive attempts including the academic year in which you have passed your 12th board examination.

Now as you have completed your 12th board examination in 2014 so you are eligible for JEE 2014, JEE 2015 & JEE 2016. But if you have not appeared in JEE 2014 or JEE 2015 then you are not eligible for JEE 2016.

For more details regarding the same examination you can log on the official link of JEE i.e; www.jeemain.nic.in.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in the JEE examination as according to the previous notifications. The JEE examination is conducted in the two stages as the Mains and the Advance.

The required qualification to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed or appearing in the board examination with the PCM as main subject. But the maximum number of attempts to appear for the examination is 3 for the Mains and 2 for the Advance.

So, you are only eligible to appear for the Mains and after qualifying you are eligible to get the admission in the NIT and other government colleges. The examination form is released in the month of the November.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for the JEE Mains examination which is the first stage of JEE examination in the 2016.

As according to the eligibility criteria :-
* The maximum attempt to appear for the JEE Mains is three where as it is restricted to two for the Advance stage.

The candidates can appear in the year of appearing in the 10+2 examination and in the other two consecutive years for the JEE examination. So you can appear for the JEE Mains in the 2016.

The application for the online as well as offline examination is available at the CBSE official website from the November onward.

Let me tell you that if you are interested to do bachelor of technology from Indian Institute of technology then you have no chance left for the Joint Entrance exam advanced stage as only two consecutive attempts are allowed for the advanced exam.

However you are eligible for the JEE Mains stage in 2016, if you score better marks in JEE mains and if you have good percentage of marks in 10+2 then you can get admission in institutes like NIT, IIIT or other government engineering, there are three attempts for JEE mains.
