I am preparing for 12 maharashtra board exam I belong to Arts stream my subjects are geography,english,logic, history,econonics,marathi and E.V.S.I want to know that can do any career but in field of geography

If you wish to make a career in the field of geography then you need to have a basic interest in the areas like people, weather, earth etc. You need to choose between Physical and Human Geography. Nowadays there is a need for candidates who have knowledge in areas like Remote sensing, GIS etc. It will good if you take up at least a post graduation in this field. You will find opportunities in Government organisations and research centers.

You can start after giving 12th board exam. B.A(hons) in geography is the course in the undergraduate level and after that you can do the Master's courses in different specializations.
You can join in the Govt sector and as well as in the private sector in different job profiles like: cartographer, surveyor, regional planner,weather inspector etc..
