I had finished my aeronautical engineering this year and have an aggregate of 74%.i want to get a job in maintainance section of aircrafts.can u suggest any such career oriented courses in this field that i can get a job in the aircraft maintainance field.plz mention courses abroad also.waiting for your response....

I received your posts now. First of all my congratulations for scoring good marks in aeronaautical engg.You can join many aviation companies which is now very much developed and which demands more. My suggesion is that you can join ISRO which is well known famous all over the world and e a part of their mission. They require well educated students.I think you may get this job.

You can write the exams conducted my top industries in India like HAL, ISRO etc. Check out in HAL website for openings. HAL recruits good number of candidates for Maintenance sector each year. They also provide awesome remuneration for these Engineers.

Is there any designing courses after B. Tech Aeronautical?

Aeronautical Engineering is itself a very career-oriented course. You have not
mentioned anything about your specialisation, but still I believe that your
course has touched upon various aspects of avaition/space systems like
designing, construction, production, testing, operation and maintenance of
aircrafts, spacecrafts, satellites, their components,etc. If you wish, you may
try for post-graduataion and further studies; but the best thing to do will be to get some hands-on experience. You can join ISRO (you will have to appear in
the Entrance Exam) or other avaiation/space reasearch bodies, aircraft
manufacturing plants or at least some renowned aitrlines.

your stream is booming today.so why are you worried about jobs?there are so many aeronautical limiteds are in india.like HAL,NAL and many more privet airline orginizations are there.

just wait for their recruitment.

After Graduation can apply for Indian Military Academy through Civil Defence Services exams which are conducted twice a year. Besides there is also a University Entry Scheme for final and pre-final year students in Engineering courses.

Structural Design,

Navigational Guidance And Control Systems,

Instrumentation And Communication,

Aerodynamics And Fluid Dynamics,

Structural Analysis,

Propulsion,

Aircraft Structures And Materials etc....

Doing one of the above courses will definitely help you....

i support u....i'm an aeronautical engineer too.its been 1 year since i ve graduated frm anna university..youngsters please dont get misguided by false info given by others..most of them have very little knowledge about this field.u can never work in maintenance field with a B.E degree in aeronautical engineering..and even AMEs are jobless...the demand for aeronautical engineers is far less than the number of students graduating...and youngsters please get maximum info regarding your course before taking up a course in aviation field...

sir, i too am an Aeronautical Engineering graduate.. and Arathy if you are waiting for the openings in HAL NAL and ISRO you will keep waiting. I and my friends have gone for interviews and high level recomendations too. As far as i know better get yourself traing in Catia Ansys and Msc. Nastran and PAtran. At least you can get into some software firm such as IBS . Other option is that you can try in DRDO bangalore.

@ Swati123 .. better dont confuse for the thing you are not sure. HAL neds only Mechanical Engineers and AME students. They dont need an Aeronautical Engineer. And for ISRO they got their own colleges.

step 1: do your higher secondary with the specialization ( mathematics , computer science )

step 2: join in BE only in the streams of CSE , ECE , Mechanical only

step 3:during your first year it self start learning the quantitative aptitude , operation systems , networking , micro processor , digital electronic , c programming etc

step 4: during your final year you can apply the ISRO for junior scientist job here ---> http://www.isro.org/scripts/job.aspx

step 5: finish the procedure and wait for the first round of test

step 6: once you clear the test you will be called for the interview

the salary will be around 25k per month
