Re: How to Become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?
Nothing dear you are going well.
As you said you are appearing for NDA, then nothing to worry just prepare well and score very well in entrance. As there is no such cutoff marks in NDA, only candidates scoring at lest 60% are called for SSB. It is common analysis being done from several years that general candidates having at least 550 score are called for SSB. So, a good preparetion is very neccessary. Specially for Maths and General Studies. Maths is completely CBSE based, while for General Awareness portion books of Arihant Publication is best one. whereas for overall preparetion Guide of Arihant Publication and Ukar's Prakashan are the Best ones. Whereas for your Height, Weight, and age all are perfect, but it will be better if your weight will be 3 - 5 kgs lesser, because it doesn't tally with your age. |

Re: How to Become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?
Hi,
you are proceeding right. All u need is to focus mostly on mathematics because it is considered to be the most vital and tough part of NDA. Written ground is the most important part, rest is not as tough like written part is. Second stage is medical ground: Ur eye sight should necessarily be 6/6 both. No allergy and color blindness. height should be in balance with weight i.e u need to gain atleast 4 kgs of weight according to ur 184 cms of height. thank you. |

Re: How to Become a Pilot in Indian Air Force?
Hello,
Yes your are on the right track to achieve your goal.NDA is the best platform for entry into the IAF. You should prepare hard and well in subjects such as Mathematics, physics, GK, and current Affairs. Mostly maths is CBSE based so you can prepare from books such as R.S.Agarwal and R.D.Sharma, they will be more than sufficient For physics, you ca refer to arihant publication books. For G.K and current affairs, i suggest that you use the latest edition of Pratiyogita Darpan books. These books are easily available in all leading book stores near you. After clearing The written exam, you have to prove yourself physically in the medical teat. Your height and weight is good enough. You need to be physically fit and you can go through regular endurance training. All the Best! |
