i am a 12th class student preparing for cbse boards next year.
i want to join air for force.
i want to know what are the other options to do so other than nda exam.
i am in science stream with pcm as the main subjects and computer science as the 5th subject.

Other than NDA exam there are three more ways, u need a graduation degree for all the three ways below:

1. UES- this is university entry scheme, in this the armed personnel shortlists candidates through campus interviews for further selection procedure.

2. SSC- Short service comission, in this when the recruitment news is published in empolyment newspaper all u need is to send ur documents and candidature to Indian Airforce as mentioned in the advertisement.

3. CDS- This is combined defence services, procedure is almost the same as of SSC.

You can get in INDIAN AIR FORCE as graduate or engineer-
for the posts in-Flying branch,Technical branch & Ground duty branch.
~For flying branch-
*Combined defence services exam,NCC special entry & short service commission(only for 14 yrs.)
Age limit-not less than 19yr & not more than 23yr.
~For technical direct entry scheme branch,the direct entry scheme.
~Direct entry scheme & university entry scheme.Age limit-18-28yr.

not to worry bro....
just study well and score more than 70%marks you can directly go for SSC exam.
your second option is join NCC(NATIONAL CADET CORPS) and there is (C) certificate which you can get and then you will be directly elligible for appearing in SSB by not giving NDA exam. you can also do this during your graduation and scoring 60%marks then you will be elligible for CDS Exam.

hello bro dont worry at all you can join army directly based on physical test but you will not be elligible for officer rank then your rank will be below officer there is nothing harm but why dont work hard and give written NDA exam you have one more option join NCC and try to get C certificate.it will help you to be direct elligible for SSB to be an officer in army and physically you should be fit.go for running everyday it will help in physical test.

Hey friend,

As you have said that you want to be a part of Indian Air force and other options for joining in it other than NDA,there is no options because according to your education qualification you have completed your +2 with that qualification you can only apply for NDA as you would need to have completed your +2 with physics and mathematics as subjects.

In case if you want to apply for CDS as there are options for getting into Air force you must have completed your degree,so it's better that you do your graduation and then apply for CDS or apply for NDA with your qualification as a passed out +2.

Dear sir,
You can go through SSB which is of 14 year service,you can apply for the application as shown in the UPSC website format or as shown in the Employement news.

Or you can go through the exam even after completing your graduation course,as entry in officer's academy.

I am a student of class 11 under cbse board and have taken pcm as my base subjects. I scored 9.4 in my cgpa gradings and wish to join the IAF. Can i give the nda entrance test after class 11? What's the syllabus to prepare for it?? I already fulfill all physical requirements. Could u please help??
