There is no separate papers for B.Com 2nd year students to join in CDS courses every candidate have a same of types questions and Syllabus.Candidates who are selecting the Officer Training Academy Service then only differ from because they not have a mathematics in their examination.

Syllabus for CDS examination(Military Academy,Naval Academy,Air force) :-

-English - Marks
-Mathematics - 100 Marks
-General Knowledge - 100 Marks

Officer Training Academy :-

-English :- 100 Marks
-General knowledge :- 100 marks.

The CDS stands for Combined Defense Services Examination. This CDS Examination is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice in a year.

The Eligibility Criteria for CDS:

For Naval Academy:-Unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd january,1991(2nd January 1989 in case of NCC naval wing "C" certificate holders) and not later than 1st January 1994.
Educational qualification:-Bsc or Bachelor of Engineering.
For Air force Academy:-Unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd January 1990 and not later than 1st January 1994.
Educational Qualification:-degree of recognized University(with Physics & Math at 10+2)or Bachelor of Engineering.

For IMA:-Unmarried male candidate born not earlier than 2nd January 1989 and not later than 1st January 1994.
Educational Qualification:-degree of recognized university.

There will be 3 papers of 2 hours each namely
English for 100 marks
Math’s for 100 marks
General knowledge for 100 marks.

Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDSE exam but 12 standard subject must be Math and Physics.

B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

Final Year student are also eligible for CDSE exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

AGE CRITERIA

Indian Military Academy - 19-24 Years
Air Force Academy - 19-23 Years
Naval Academy - 19-22 Years
Officer's Training Academy - 19-25 Years
