Dear Friend
Indian Airforce recruit engineering graduates through following modes. In Flying Branch recruitment is done through Combined Defence Services Examination National Cadet Corps Special Entry ( Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC ) Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women)(only for 14 years) In Technical Branch recruitment is done through Direct Entry scheme University Entry scheme Apart from these also recruitment is done in Ground Duty Branch The notification for different modes of entry are published in Employment News and on IAF website. Visit: http://careerairforce.nic.in/career_opp/ The Combined Defence Services Examination is conducted by UPSC and so notification for this, is published on UPSC official website. FLYING BRANCH ::
If you want to join IAF as a pilot then you should take CDSE exam its the only way after B.tech as students can become Pilot Eligibility: Must be between 21 to 23 years of age Must have done your graduation with physics and math as subject in class 12th TECHNICAL BRANCH :: To join this field of work there is only one option and that is direct method University Entry Scheme (UES) Eligibility :: You must have passed your B.TECH with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. You should be between 18 to 28 years |

Hello,
You can appear in CDS, after graduation conducted by UPSC twice in a year. CDS 1st in mid february and CDS 2nd in the month of september. Eligibility criteria to appear in CDS- *Graduation from affiliated university with min. Aggregate 60%, or equivalent in any stream. *Students in final year are also eligible to appear in CDS. *Age limit-19-23 yr. On 1st july of exam year. Details on CDS 2nd- *Notification date-30/4/2011 *Last date to submit the form offline and online-30/5/2011 *Exam date-18/9/2011 for more information you can visit-www.upsc.gov.in ok, best of luck. |
