ELIGIBILITY
A candidate must be a citizen of India.
Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1990 and not later than 1st January, 1995.
Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

Dear Aspirant,

Sorry, You are not eligible for Applying CDS examination being a 2nd year student of Your Bachelor degree......

First of all you have to complete your Graduation degree or You should pursuing Final year of Graduation.....

A candidate who have completed their Graduation degree/Bachelor degree in any discipline OR Pursuing Final year of Graduation are eligible for applying CDS examination.......

CDS Conducted in following Wings:

1. Indian Military Academy
2. Indian Air Force
3. Naval Academy
4. Officers’ Training Academy

Age Limit:

• For Indian Military Academy : 19-24 Years
• For Air Force Academy : 19-23 Years
• For Naval Academy : 19-22 Years
• For Officers’ Training Academy :19-25 Years.

Don't worry from the next year you are eligible for applying CDS exam......

Now you are in 2nd year persuing from Computer science engineeing.
The minimum eligibility for this CDS exam Complete graaduation in any displine from a recognized university.Final year exams appearing candidates may also eligible for this exam.Now am giving information about the CDS.

Combined Defence Services Examination or CDS is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

CDS exam has four wings:-

*Indian naval academy,
*Indian airforce academy,
*Indian military academy,
*Officer training academy.

CDS Educational Qualifications :

1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

2. For Indian Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. ( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry.

3. For Air Force Academy : Degree of recognized University ( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering.

**Final year exams appearing candidates may also eligible and there is no percentage restrictions for this exam.

**Male and female both are eligible for this exam.

**You must be a citizen of india.

**You should be physically fit.

Age criteria:-

*For naval academy 19 to 22years,
*For airforce academy 19 to 23 years,
*for military academy 19 to 24 years,
*For medicser training academy 19 to 25 years.
*No age relaxation.

Selection process:-

Written test,

Personal interview.

Now you are in 2nd year hence you are not eligible for CDS exam.

Those who are in Graduate in Engineering or in final year and are expecting their result on time can apply for CDS exam.

Hence you must concentrate on your graduation now and complete it in time.

You can also start preparing for CDS exam from now onwards so that by the time you complete graduation you are well prepared for the exam.

The age limit for for CDS exam is as follows:

-Air force Academy- 19 to 23 years.

-Indian Naval Academy - 19 to 22 years

-Indian Military Academy - 19 to 24 years.

-Officers Training Academy - 19 to 25 years.

The CDS exam will have following stages :

* you must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university.

Unfortunately you are not eligible to give the examination now. Only after completing graduation you will be allowed to sit for the CDS Examination.
