If we see recent trends in civil engineering then lots of female candidates have started to take civil engineering as her stream in engineering. Earlier due to some stereotypes, girls used to avoid this stream because of field work. But the percentage of girls enrolment in civil engineering discipline has increased a lot in IITs, NITs and other government engineering colleges.

The salary of fresher in this field is around Rs 30000 to Rs 50000 and also depends upon in which organization you are going to work. There is no such highest salary defined for any stream of engineering.
